Infinity Flight is proud to provide professional flight training for students pursuing the American Airlines Cadet Academy at Piedmont, Envoy, or PSA at all of Infinity locations.
Each of American Airlines’ three wholly owned regional carriers offers its own Cadet Academy pathway, giving aspiring pilots multiple opportunities to connect with an airline as they progress through their flight training. Eligibility and entry points vary by carrier, allowing students to pursue the cadet opportunity that best aligns with their stage of training and career path.
Cadets benefit from a conditional job offer, mentorship, airline engagement, carrier visits, and opportunities to build relationships with the regional airline where they will begin their professional flying career. This also provides an established pathway for cadets to ultimately progress to American Airlines through their respective flow programs WITHOUT ANY FURTHER INTERVIEWS.
TRAIN WITH MOMENTUM
As one of a select number of flight schools in the country granted FAA Self-Examining Authority, Infinity Flight can conduct FAA practical tests for eligible certificates and ratings through our in-house FAA approved examiners. This distinction saves students valuable time and money by eliminating delays associated with waiting for outside Designated Pilot Examiners (DPEs), ensuring a more efficient, reliable and student-focused training experience.
Combined with our modern fleet, dedicated scheduling, experienced instructors, and career-focused training environment, Infinity provides the structure and support students need as they build toward a professional pilot career.
ELIGIBILITY AND EXPECTATIONS
- Be 21 Years of age at the completion of the program
- Be able to obtain an FAA 1st class medical
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Be legally eligible to work in the US and have a valid passport with the ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
- Pass background checks

Students who are accepted into the Cadet Academy Program at Infinity Flight will be placed into a cohort and assigned a start date. Infinity will offer one cohort start date each month. It is important to note that this is a professional pilot training program. Students in this unique program will be expected to be available on a full-time basis.
Professional pilot training requires commitment and consistency. Students training at the Cadet Academy Program at Infinity Flight should be prepared to maintain the availability and training frequency necessary to make steady progress through the certificates and ratings required for a professional pilot career.

Infinity Flight is proud to lead the American Airlines Cadet Academy presence on the East Coast, with training available at both our Trenton, NJ and Fort Pierce, FL locations. The AA Cadet Academy program offers an accelerated commercial pilot pathway that includes customized training, financing through the American Airlines Federal Credit Union, consistent student/pilot mentoring from American Airlines, and a conditional job offer with one of American’s regional carriers, Piedmont, PSA, or Envoy.

Eligibility and Expectations
To qualify for the AA Cadet Academy a student must meet and prove the following eligibility criteria:
- Be 21 years of age at the completion of the program
- Be able to obtain FAA 1st class medical
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Be legally eligible to work in the US and have a valid passport with the ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
- Pass a student interview and background check
Students who are accepted into the AA Cadet Academy Program at Infinity Flight will be placed into a cohort and assigned a start date. Infinity Flight will offer one cohort start date each month. It is important to note that this is a professional pilot training program. Students in this unique program will be expected to available on a full-time basis.
Infinity Flight will guide you through 12 months of flight training earning your Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate, and CFI/CFII.
Get paid to flight instruct for about 8-12 months until you reach airline hiring minimums of 1500 hours of total time and 21 years of age.
